Fire breaks out on Jaynagar-Udhna Antyodaya Express at Bihar’s Madhubani Station Today News
A fire broke out in the empty coaches of the Jaynagar-Udhna Antyodaya Express at Madhubani railway station in Bihar on Thursday when a shift was underway at platform No.3.
According to railway officials, the stricken car was completely destroyed by the fire, causing panic at the station.
Officials said the train is running between Udhna and Jaynagar. The fire broke out when the train was standing on the platform.
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Samastipur division, Jyoti Prakash Mishra, said, “Officials from all five departments, safety, electrical, operations and security, will look into every single aspect of the matter. We have taken into account all the feedback received; we have spoken to the general public and also interacted with our own staff who were on the spot.”
The incident is under investigation, including the possibility of involvement of anti-social elements and other points of view.
