
The Indian Medical Association (IMA), Andhra Pradesh, was published to support foreign medical graduates (FMG) waiting for permanent registrations for a year and demanded an immediate solution.
IMA said in a press note on May 23rd that after studying the reasons for the problems faced by FMG in the last few months, they decided to become them. “Extraordinary circumstances predominantly in the world in the last five years, such as Pandemia and the Russian War, have thrown these students into a state of uncertainty,” the edition said.
Now that the Provisional Medical Council has been created, it is necessary to solve this problem urgently, the members of the association said and noted that the neighboring states of Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryan have successfully completed registration processes for students.
Members said that while internships are held for one year usually anywhere else in the world, the medical council Andhra Pradesh asked FMG to undergo an internship for two or even three years and waste the academic years of FMG.
They said that the National Medical Commission (NMC) has proposed several instructions to the state councils to deal with these unusual situations. He notes that NMC said in his latest letter Medical Council Bihar 1.
IMA urged medical advice and medical officials to take the relevant steps for the well -being of these students before further damage.
