The Minister of Industry and TG Bharath said that the government has committed itself to developing a stadium in every district and as part of it is taking steps to develop a cricket stadium in cenol.
Mr. Bharath, along with President Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) and Vijayawada Kesineni Sivanath, Kurnool deputy B. Nagaraju and others visited the cricket ACA playground coming in the village of Munagalapad in Kurnool Mandal. Mr. Bharath asked about the progress of works, including the state of compensatory work, fencing and others with the officials in question. He asked ACA representatives to find a good architect and prepare a plan for the development of the stadium.
Mr. Sivanath asked officials to prepare a plan for the stadium by June 7, started development work and first completed the construction of the stadium. Later, the Minister and Collector inspected the summer storage tank and asked the city officials to ensure that the soil near the tank would not be affected. He asked officials to develop an environmental park in the country.
