The 15-year-old Rajasthan Royals batsman smashed 12 sixes to surpass Chris Gayle’s record for most sixes in a single T20 tournament, taking this season’s maximum to 65. His fearless batting has left former cricketers and legends in awe. Andre Russell was among the latest stars to praise the teenager. “Congratulations young man, haters will say you’re not 15, who cares, 30 year old players out there are trying their hardest to do what you’re doing. He became the youngest batsman to score 600 runs in an IPL season and now holds the record for most sixes in an IPL innings by an Indian player. His 12 sixes against SRH were also the most ever in an IPL play-off innings.The left-hander scored 680 runs in 15 innings with a staggering knock of over 242, including one century and four fifties.
