The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has been ranked 11th globally among the top 50 business schools and first in India for the impact of its teaching cases in the 2026 Financial Times Business and Policy Impact Assessment.
The rankings also place the institute among the top institutions globally in terms of adoption and use of its case material, with IIMB cases being used by a wide international academic and professional audience.
According to IIMB, 680 higher education institutions in nearly 50 countries have subscribed to and used its cases in 2024 and 2025. The customer category included academic institutions and faculties, students, companies and professionals.
The institute published 26 cases through Harvard Business Impact in both 2024 and 2025. Sales increased from 1,40,457 in 2024 to 1,84,879 in 2025, an increase of nearly 32%.
