The Kozhikode district recorded a percentage of passage 79.81 in class XII exams (state curriculum, 2024-25 academic year), the results of which were announced on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Education, 31,029 out of 38,878 students in 174 schools that appeared for exams became eligible for higher studies. Up to 3,576 students scored plus in all subjects. Kozhikode is fourth in the state behind Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kannur.
Last year the district recorded a percentage of passage 81.25. The percentage of passage has been declining over the past few years.
School, which achieved 100% results, are the presentation of higher high school, Chevayur, Kozhikode City; Cm higher high school, Mannur North; Sevamandir High Secondary School, Ramanattukar; and karuna speech and hearing of higher high school, Eranhikode City.
Students who have gained full grades are CM NAFSIYYA (Science) Government College for Girls, Balussers; T. Gowri Parvathy and K. Vani Lakshmi (Science), Rahmania High Secondary School for Handicapped, Kozhikode; Isha Prashanth (Science) Memunda HSS, VilliaAppaly, Vadakara; B. Devananda (Science) Government High School, Narikkuni; S. Sreelakshmi (Science), Government High Secondary School, Naduvanur; Leandra Sherlet Nelliyany (shop), High Secondary School St. Mary, Kootatai; PT Sriya (Science), Seva Mandir High Secondary School, Ramanattukar; Anviya Elizabeth (Humanities), High Secondary School of St. Michael, West Hill, Kozhikode; Christy Paul Mathew (Science), Holy Family High School, Venappara; Amna Fathima (Science), MJ Vocational High School, VilliaAppaly, Vadakara; And Zhida K. Razak (Science), government vocational college, Payyoli.
In the higher secondary current, 1,680 out of 2,553 students became eligible for higher studies. The percentage of the passage is 65.8.
