Bartonietz joined Neerai as a biomechanical expert in February 2019 and later took over his coach after leaving the German colleague and spear throwing the legend Uwe Hohn.During his time with Bartonietz, he won Neera’s two Olympic Games and two World Championship medals and successfully defended its crown of Asian games in Hangzhou. Your thoughts of Neei’s 90m Barrier Barrier …

What do you think was a key factor in Neer Chopra, who broke the 90m barrier?
Neej trained with an absolutely amazing coach (Zelezní). Zelezní and I shared notes and he told me that Neera has the ability to realize his dream. Even during heating, he trains the trains like him, he trains for the finals. He was disappointed when he was second with his personal best throwing 90 meters.I am quite sure that now it will go 92 m, 93 m or maybe 94 meters in the future. He looks in the best form of his life and overcome the worrying injury of the weakness.Who is the IPL player?
So what has changed for Neera this time? Is it a greenery effect?
Neera and I met Zeleznna earlier and we even trained briefly in Potchefstroom (South Africa). So we both knew his approach. Neej wanted to have him on board. The Zelezna has a simple philosophy of training. It focuses on intelligent training. This is what I did with Neeri for 5-6 years. I do not see fundamental changes in Neera’s approach. Knopal on 90m doors. It was only about that day and time. With the Zelezna around, it was all about the finals of some aspects of its starting, throwing and landing.
When you took over, what was the biggest challenge you faced when shaping Neeri into the champion?
The biggest challenge was to find the right balance of training that suits its style. I needed to understand what he wanted. I worked on his strength, fitness and technology. It’s like a car. Not every car can go fast. The same was with Neera. He just can’t run fast and land on a spear at any distance we wanted. It was to bring these changes from the inside. My work was half -done with him.
What was the rehabilitation process after its return from injury in 2019?
It was a pity when he hit Covid-19. After this release he was actually in the form of his life. Likewise, I can say that I look at today’s Neer. At that time he went to South Africa and had only one competition, where he threw 87 meters. He was so positive about his chances for the Tokyo Olympics. Then the games were postponed. It was a big challenge to maintain motivated Neera. I was an expert on biomechanics, but with Neeraj my role has changed completely. I became his guide, well friendly, his go-to-man.
