T. Siddique, MLA, inaugurated “Karuthal”, a program of consciousness management for Harrisons Malayalam Sentinel Rock Estate in Mepadi, Wayanad on Wednesday (May 21, 2025). The program also included relations of awareness, an introduction to a self -employed program and the division of the help of the families of those who lost their lives on land landslides last year.
Real estate officials stated that they provided benefits such as reward, retirement, funeral costs, accommodation for more than 100 families in other goods, alternative employment for Vellarmal Estate HML and a set of basic items after returning from rehabilitation camps. In addition, 33 GBP families were provided to 33 employees who lost their lives on land landslides. There was an effort to compensate for the remaining eight families, added Vinod Kumar, the leading of human resources to the estate.
The Sessions was organized by the District Office of Disasasters, Department of Fire and Rescue Services and the District Medical Team. The CEO of HML Cheriyan M. George and trade union was present.
