On Wednesday (May 21, 2025), the Minister of the External Affairs of S. Jaishankar met with the Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs Morten Bodskov, during which they discussed the deepening of bilateral links between India and Denmark and exploring new possibilities.
Jaishankar arrived on Tuesday (May 20, 2025) in the second stage of his tour with three nations to the Netherlands, Denmark and Germany.

He also said that they discussed “deepening existing areas of cooperation and exploring new possibilities”.
On Tuesday evening, Jaishankar conducted interviews with the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and thanked Denmark for his solidarity and support in the fight against terrorism.
In his post for X, Mr. Jaishankar, he thanked Prime Minister Frederiksen for “warmly accepts” him in Copenhagen.
During the meeting, Mr. Jaishankar also mediated personal greetings by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He appreciated Frederiksen’s leadership in the development of partnerships in India-Denmark and emphasized the shared commitment to solve global challenges through sustainable solutions.
