KKCCI said the Star Air authorities revised the plan after considering the regional demand and repeated requests from the chamber for a convenient morning connection between the two cities.
The chamber said it has consistently represented before Star Air and the authorities concerned regarding the need for early morning flights for the benefit of business travelers, industrialists, students, patients and general public of the Kalyana Karnataka region.
At the same time, KKCCI has urged the airline to introduce evening flight services in addition to the morning flight schedule in view of the growing passenger demand and growing importance of the Kalaburagi-Bengaluru sector.
The Chamber also expressed hope that additional flight frequencies and connectivity to other major cities would be introduced under the Central Government’s UDAN scheme with the support of the State Government in the future.
