Telangana RTC reduces bus fares to Pushpak airport with effect from 7th October

After the June 2025 fare hike that left passengers feeling sick, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) on Tuesday (October 6, 2026) announced a cut of up to 40% on its Pushpak AC buses plying to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The revised ticket prices will take effect on October 7.

On services from Miyapur – Fare from Miyapur Junction has been reduced from ₹350 to ₹250, while fare from JNTU has been reduced from ₹350 to ₹200. The fare from Shilparamam has been reduced from ₹300 to ₹200 and from ₹300 to ₹150 for services from Gachibowli.

Similarly, prices for Pushpak services from Lingampally to the airport have been reduced. The fare from Lingampally has been reduced from ₹300 to ₹200, while the fare from Alwyn X Road has been reduced from ₹350 to ₹200. The fare from Kondapur has been reduced from ₹300 to ₹200, while passengers boarding at Kothaguda and Gachibowli will now pay ₹150, up from ₹300.

The fare hike last year followed internal discussions at the TGSRTC, where officials raised concerns about price stagnation and low occupancy as important issues affecting operational costs.
