₹7 stolen from an ATM in Shamshabad’s Satamrai

Around ₹7,000 in cash was stolen from an Axis Bank ATM at Satamrai in Shamshabad area of ​​Hyderabad, Telangana on Tuesday (October 6, 2026).

The burglary is suspected to have taken place between 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., according to police. The preliminary investigation indicates that two people may have been involved in the crime. “The suspects sprayed paint on the ATM’s CCTV camera, apparently to prevent the incident from being captured. The footage available before the camera was covered is being reviewed as part of the investigation,” they added.

Police are also examining additional CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspects and trace their movements before and after the robbery. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
