Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan wrote letters to the main secretary K. Vijayanad and the general director of the police Harish Kumar Gupta, which advised them to carefully monitor suspicious terrorist activities in the state as a result of the Sindoor operation. The arrest of the youth from the district of Vizianagaram for alleged connection with ISIS guaranteed continuous warnings and strict measures that would maintain the state safe, noted.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan emphasized the need for special supervision along the coastal areas and the likely presence of Rohingy, terrorist sympathizers and sleepers. Officials in all districts should have proper coordination to avert any undesirable incident and save any effort in conducting a comprehensive investigation, he said.
He noted that the proper focus must be laid on the 974 km – the long coast in the state. Mr. Pawan Kalyan said the government was asked to make a deeper probe into information concerning illegal immigrants and terrorist sympathizers after the terrorist attack of Pahalgam and subsequent development and there was no room for satisfaction. In the districts of North Andhra, Godavari and Manyam, a narrow watch needs to be maintained.
Mr. Pawan Kalyan said that Guntur and some other districts have the presence of Rohingyas, which believed they had Aadhaar and rations and even identification cards of voters. If it was real, the facts must be dug to take the necessary measures immediately, he said.
Greater conspiracy, if they exist, must be decayed. He reminded himself that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) carried out raids in Gunture a few years ago last year and in the Rayalaseem region and arrested suspicious. The police could not afford to overlook these detainees because it could offer vital traces for ominous terrorists’ designs, said Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
Representatives of the main minister said that during detection of massive missile smugglers rice in the port of Kakinada in November 2024, when the central intelligence agencies entered the image, raised serious concerns about national security, and did what was needed to fill the security gaps that could pose a terrible danger to the country.
