Free 20 Days Civil Defense Training in Visakhapatnam

Citizens between the ages of 18 and 45 have signed up for a 20-day free part-time training program for civil defense volunteers.

The Civil Defense Organization at Shantipuram near Gurudwara Junction is conducting the program under the direction of the Director General, State Rescue and Fire Services, Andhra Pradesh.

The training will cover first aid, rescue and fire fighting, surveillance services and communication.

Classes will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 and participants will receive certificates. Applicants should submit copies of their SSC mark notes and Aadhaar card and apply online through the Civil Defense Volunteers portal at cdvolunteers.gov.in.
