Former White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt has now announced her next chapter after stepping down from the Trump administration. She said she was heading to Fox News.

According to the network, Leavitt will serve as an on-air contributor. She started on November 1, the network shared on Monday.
“With first-hand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail, Karoline clearly understands today’s political landscape,” network CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement, as cited by the AP.
As for herself, Leavitt said in the same statement that she is looking forward to entering the news industry. She said she will “bring my unique perspective from my experience as White House press secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers on their many platforms.”

29-year-old Karoline Leavitt was the youngest person ever to hold the role of White House press secretary. She announced her departure at the end of August.
US President Donald Trump called her one of his “most trusted aides”.
Why Karoline Leavitt left the White House
Previously, Leavitt said she wanted to spend more time with her two children at home. He has a two-year-old son. She welcomed her second child, Viviana, who was born in May.
At the time, she also said she would continue as a “senior adviser” to Trump.
Meanwhile, Leavitt is not the first of Trump’s press secretaries to join Fox News. Several others have already joined the network. Among them was Kayleigh McEnany, who joined in 2021 and remains with the company.
Dana Perino, former press secretary to President George W. Bush, is also a political commentator for the network.
On the other hand, Donald Trump has also hired several Fox News personalities for key positions in his administration. Probably the most popular of these is Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
Leavitt has been in the news from time to time for her political statements. Despite leaving the White House, she continued to defend the Trump administration on social media. She also spoke at the Republican Midterm Convention held last month.
