Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav has launched a free training program for youth from Dharmavaram Assembly constituency in Sri Sathya Sai district who want to join defense and security forces.
The programme, supported by the Tirupati-based Samskruti Seva Samithi and SV Defense Academy, will provide training for army, police and paramilitary recruitment. The aim is to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent talented rural and urban youth from receiving quality training.
The training will include physical fitness, running, physical fitness tests, discipline, written tests and overall selection process.
In an interview with the media, the minister stated that the initiative has already begun to yield results. In the recent Agniveer recruitment, 236 candidates appeared from Dharmavaram and 220 were selected, he said, reflecting the effectiveness of the guidance provided.
To reach more youth, the minister has now arranged for 100 youth from Dharmavaram constituency to be trained every year free of charge through the academy.
“The aim is to inculcate patriotism, discipline, self-confidence and physical strength while helping the youth secure stable government jobs and bring pride to their families and the region,” said Satya Kumar Yadav.
