Chennai Super Kings Stephen Fleming remained firmly strengthened about the future of Mrs. Dhoni in IPL after the 2025 season. Fleming spoke to the press in Nový Delhi on the eve of CSK against Rajasthan Royals and avoided the question of whether Dhoni would come back to play for Super Kings in the 2026 season.
“I don’t know,” Fleming said with a straight face before moving to another set of questions.
During the season, Fleming constantly maintained that Mrs. Dhoni had not spoken to the legendary cricket. Dhoni, 43, is ready to lead CSK in their last two league matches of the season. CSK for the first time failed to qualify for the playoffs in the back-to-back season in their IPL history.
