Superstitions embossed years ago during the reformation movement will be expanded in society again, said the main Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday.
The main minister addressed experts from the science and technology sector in Professional Connect 2025, organized as part of the fourth anniversary of the government. He emphasized the need to raise scientific temperament and promote scientific and technological know -hw for sustainable growth and development based on social justice.
“We live in times when superstitions that have been erased under the guidance of social reformers are returning and widespread,” he said, adding that many national grants that support research and university education have now been either removed or reduced.
Digital scientific parks
Mr. Vijayan said that the Kieral government introduced the Kairali Research Prize and the postdoToToToRanding scholarship to promote research in addition to the initial centers of Excellency in the Higher Education and Translational Laboratory Sector at universities. Kerala is on the way of growth with digital scientific parks and AI centers. The state spends 600 GBP Crore in three digital scientific parks, he said.
Science and technology are not separate from people’s lives, said Mr. Vijayan and repeated the plans of his government to create a knowledge company.
