The collector of Kadapa Sridhar Cherkuri on Friday inspected a number of ongoing works concerning the MGNGA Mahatma Gandhi Generation Act in the district.
He informed with workers with officials of the district water management (DWMA), who inspected the works in vempalli mandala, and urged them to use this system. The jobs included ponds for water harvesting for sweet lime orchards, where Mr. Sridhar learned procedures for managing farms received by the orchard owner.
The collector apparently visited the places after receiving a complaint from Kadap MP YS Avinash Reddy about extensive corruption and inconsistencies in MGNGA work in the State. In the complaint, Mr. Reddy accused the government of the alliance led by TDP of the “systematic subversion” of the regime and resorting to extensive financial fraud, which led to a survey of vulnerable workers.
The deputy also brought collectors notification of the issue of false work cards non -existent or politically interconnected individuals ignoring and threatening actual job seekers, digital manipulation of attendance records by recording the same photos across more collected items with different names, salary relaxation that is never performed based on converted documents and without proper ground verification.

The collector later inspected the IIIT campus in IDUPULAPAYA and offered prayers in the famous Gandi Anjaneyaswamy temple.
