In a significant intervention against the suspicious modules of the sleepers, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) of the Jammu and Kashmir police (SIA) carried out coordinated air raids on 11 places across middle and northern Kashmir on Saturday.
According to official spokesperson Sia, the raids led to the seizure of the essential accusing material and the detention of several suspects for further interrogation. The event is part of the ongoing investigation of the activities of individuals allegedly associated with terrorist networks operating in the Union.

“Preliminary investigations suggest that identified individuals are closely involved in terrorist conspiracy and were helpful in spreading anti -Indian stories,” the spokesman said. “Their actions are focused not only on undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, but also on the incitement of public disorder and incitement of municipal disharmony.”
The agency repeated its obligation to national security and public order and confirmed that “it will continue to take solid steps against individuals or groups involved in any form of Art Nouveau or terrorist activity”.
SIA also raised concerns about the vulnerability of youth against online radicalization and noted that a significant proportion of persons involved in these activities fall into the age group 18–22.
“The role of parents, teachers and peers is essential when offering timely interventions,” the spokesman said. “Although constant supervision may not always be feasible, it is essential that people around young individuals remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior to local coercive authorities.”
The raids are part of the wider SIA effort to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and disruption of recruitment mechanisms working in digital space.
