
The legendary dough Sunil Gavascar believes that Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have strong leadership, but supported Gill as a pioneer to become another Indian test.

Gavascar noted that Gill, Iyer and Pant had clear captain styles, but he felt that Gill would seem to be most involved in the field.
“It would take several years (to the groom of future leaders) to get to the level of our super captains (Mrs. Dhoni, Rohit, Virat). They all brought a different approach,” said Gavascar PTI at Star Sports Press.
“When you see Gill, Iyer and Pant, three main candidates for Indian captains, you can see the merger of all three (Dhoni, Rohit, Virat). Gill is probably more competitive when he decides to immediately ask the referee.
“Although Pant is for stumps, it is also very involved. Iyer was also great. All three brought a lot of positivity in the way the captains were,” Gavascar added.
25 -year -old SHUBMAN GILL before Captain India in five T20is last year’s tour after Zimbabwe. He is currently in his second season as Captain Gujarat Titans (GT) in Indian Premier League (IPL). Gill debuted the international debut in 2019 after being part of the Indian U19 World Cup team in 2018, and continued the IPL before entering GT.
