BHEL celebrates Gandhi Jayanthi in Ranipet

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in Ranipet celebrated the 157th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at its campus here on Friday.

According to a press release, K. Saketh Raman, Chief Quality Officer, BHEL, decorated the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and paid floral tributes. Students of DAV and SRK schools sang patriotic songs highlighting Gandhi’s principles and contribution to the nation.

On the eve of the special day under the ‘Swachhatha Hi Seva Special Campaign 2026’, S. Leela, General Manager (Human Resources), BHEL, initiated a procession of students and employees of BHEL in the campus. A cleanliness drive was also organized to observe ‘Swachotsav’. Senior officials, representatives of trade unions and associations were also present, the report said.
