The Supreme Court Collegium on Thursday (May 15, 205) recommended the appointment of the judge of the High Court in Karnataka Kempaiah Somaskekar under the chief judge of the High Court Manipur.
The three -member college, led by the chief judge of India Bravai at her meeting held on Thursday, recommended appointment with regard to retirement of the existing chief judge D. Krishnakumar 21 May.
“The Supreme Court Collegium, at its meeting held on May 15, 2025, recommended the appointment of justice Kempaiah Somaskekar, judge, Karnataka High Court, as the chief judge of the High Court manipure, resulting in retirement of justice D Kishhnakumar on May 21, 2025.
