
Kerala Fiber Optic Network LTD (KFON), a broadband internet service of the state government, records an increase in connection in Alappuzha.
In his statement issued on Thursday, Kfon said the promise of high -speed internet at affordable prices attracted more people.
So far, 3,488 cfon connections have been provided in the ALAPPUZHA district. “The Project Has Laid 1,678.82 kms of the Cable in the District to Date. This included 155.47 kms of OPGW (Optical Ground Wire) Cables Laid Through KSEB Transmission Towers and 1.523.352 KMS of ADSS Along Kseb Posts.
A total of 369 under the households of poverty (BPL) In the district, a connection of Kfon was provided. In addition, 1,938 commercial connections were established in the district through local operators. Twelve connections with small and medium -sized enterprises were also provided in the district. Currently, 115 local network operators are working with Kfon in Alappuzha.
