Mr. Choudhary said that out of 50 applications, 37 are related to agricultural and horticultural products including Madanapalle Tomato, Tamarind, Black Plum, Pomegranate, Sweet Orange, Tadipatri Guava, Kadapa Banana, Sapota, Totapuri, Neelam and Banganapalli mango, Pink Guava, Horse Anyantyhapur, Anna Kadapa, Anna and Tirupati districts.

“This move is supported by the state government’s Rayalaseema Horticulture Center with Madanapalle as a key hub to promote production, processing and exports,” he said, adding that it was a joint achievement of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and companies aimed at preserving traditional knowledge and helping farmers tap into wider markets nationwide.
