Startup B2B, founder and CEO of Localking (CEO), Mayank Agarwal, in a post on the social media at LinkedIn, shared the story of how swiggy delivery partner was accompanied by his daughter Toddol, who has no other option in his family.
Agarwal emphasized how swiggy delivery partner, Pankaj, as one parent, managed his household and his delivery work without having any other option than to take his daughter for driving while adding land.
“Mr. Pankaj, a swiggy delivery partner manages his work in the transport of his daughter toddler – because he has no other option. No childcare. No security network. Just the resistance and love of the real father,” Agarwal said in his post.
“He shook me to the core …”
Agarwal received a call from the Executive Director of Swiggy, who arrived with the land. The founder called Pankaj to the second floor of the building, but just before the hanging heard the child’s voice over the phone.
After understanding that the child and Pankii, Agarwal came down the stairs to see an almost two -year -old toddler sitting on Pankaj’s bike.
“Why is he with you?” asked the founder.
Pankaj explained that no one else is at home to be careful when he’s outside for his delivery work.
“There is no one at home. Her older brother is attending evening courses and I have to take care of her until she returns. Her name is a ton. She lost her mother during birth,” Panka said according to the post.
“Sit at home … If you can’t handle”
According to Agarwal’s contribution, Panjak told him that many customers told him he should stay at home if he did not care for his daughter, instead of taking her with him.
“Sit at home if you are not doing well – is your toddler problem,” Pankaj said, quoting customers. Without any complaints, he also questioned the society in which the direction he is heading.
Mayank Agarwal appreciated Pankaj’s efforts and said that this incident reminded him of how many people take life for granted and how the inspirational story of Pankai and Little tons gave him strength.
“Before someone is concerned about the safety of children, please understand – it makes it out of the urge, not by choosing. Be empathetic and not too fast to judge,” Agarwal said in his post.
He also urged the Swiggy team to find a way to support the efforts of the Executive Director.
“His story touched me deeply. I always remember his gentle smile and the innocent face of his daughter – how powerful the reminder to continue, no matter. This is life,” agarwal said in his post.
