Actor Lakshmipriya has spoken out for allegedly defaming Ansiba Hassan

Palarivattom police have booked actor Lakshmipriya for allegedly defaming fellow actor Ansiba Hassan.

A case was registered on the order of the First Class IX Judicial Court, Ernakulam, according to the FIR. The complaint relates to comments allegedly made by Ms Lakshmipriya against Ms Hassan in an interview published by an online channel in June.

She was charged with the alleged offense of defamation under Section 356(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
