Esha Singh wins individual silver in women’s 25m pistol at the 2026 Asian Games after missing out on a medal from the team event

Esha Singh went through several heats before finishing with a silver medal in the women’s 25m pistol at the 2026 Asian Games, adding another individual medal to her Asian Games record.The world number one and world record holder finished the final with 38 hits, as did China’s Xiao Jiaruixuan who won the gold. Esha’s 4+2 shootout record left her in second place, while Xiao finished with 4+3.Esha’s path to the podium was far from straightforward.
