In response to the escalating tensions along the border of India-Pakistan, the district authorities of West Godavari intensified supervision in public places.
West Godavari Superintendent of Police Adnan Nayeem Asmi said that bomb and dog units and other news wings were deployed to increase the safety and monitoring of suspicious activities.
Mr. Nayeem Asmi said, “We carefully monitor the presence and movement of foreigners throughout the district.” A special warning was issued at bus and railway stations. He added that people were invited to report to the police any unusual movement or foreigners.
