Asian Games 2026 Day 8 Live Updates: Asian Games 2026 Day 8 is set to bring another day of action for the Indian contingent, with athletes competing in a wide range of sports on Sunday, September 27. The schedule includes medal events, gold medal finals, quarter finals, qualifying rounds and important group stage matches that will keep Indian athletes satisfied throughout the day.
The day starts in the early hours with surfing, archery and athletics. Indian walkers Manju Rani and Priyanka Goswami will compete in the women’s marathon final at 4:00. Archers from India will also start their team events, while surfers including Sugar Shanti Banars and Sivaraj Babu will compete in their shortboard heats.
Several Indian athletes take to the field during the shooting. Manu Bhaker, Esha Singh and Rahi Sarnobat will compete in the Women’s 25m Pistol Accuracy Qualifier.
