The slander, filed in 2023 Mahua Moitr, focuses on what she described as false and slanderous accusations that accuse her of receiving bribes in exchange for asking questions in parliament.
Dubey claimed that Moitra took bribes from the entrepreneur and CEO of the Hiranandani Group Darshan Hiranandani to get specific questions in Lok Sabha.
He founded these statements on a letter received by Jai Anant Dehadrai, who allegedly provided “irrefutable” evidence supporting accusations of bribery.
The accusation was unfounded and harmful to its reputation.
Moitr, however, according to the report, rejected any misconduct and claimed that the claims were politically managed and aim to harm its reputation.
