The tension clasped on Friday evening palace areas of Mysuru, because the unidentified aircraft was “seen in a limited airy space”, followed by a number of explosion, which caused reaction to the emergencies of the authorities.
As the fire was based on the fire, the sirens came through the air and alerted the general public, while the security staff swept to take control of the situation. And it was just to be: the test of security staff readiness to manage the crisis due to the tension and outbreak of hostility (from suspension to ceasefire) between India and Pakistan.
Drill – Operation Abhyas – has been designed and the scenario simulated in a way to test the effectiveness of all players in the district administration who will be in real life during the crisis. Therefore, the “first mark of problems” was noticed by air traffic control (ATC), which detected a suspicious air movement over the palace and quickly alerted both district and police control rooms.
At 16:36, the Police Commissioner assistant (ACP) received Harsha warning and immediately began response to emergency events in the city, warned against potential threats for several key installations, including Infosys, CFTri, HPCL, IOCL and BPCL. Soon thereafter, the sirens echoed the signaling of the High Arta situation.
The simulated scenario included observation of the aircraft, explosions near the tower with hours, collapse of walls to indicate structural damage, while there were signs of victims. Emergency units were quickly mobilized and were activated medical, police, fire and team disposal teams. Meanwhile, the act of Rajendra secured the area, allowing the bomb team to carry out the inspections before the signal of “all clear”.
While the fire on the corner of the palace was under control, the rescue was launched and about 100 domestic guards “helped the injured”.
Medical teams entered Jayarama and Balama Gates, established a temporary sorting area and transported injured to hospitals, while Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation evacuated other staff and passers -by to security zones. The one -minute continuous siren indicated that the “crisis” was under control and marked the end of the exercise.
The Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy said that the drill was carried out to test readiness, response time and coordinates various departments during rescue and evacuation in any emergency situation and almost 500 employees were involved.
