
On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Pakistan announced that the nation was opening its airy space for all kinds of traffic moments after the nation agreed to India on a ceasefire in the middle of the ongoing conflict in India-Pakistan, PTI news agency reported.
The Pakistani Airport Office (PAA) announced the development on Saturday, because the nation in the eyes of the normality in the middle of raging tension with India.
“All airports in the country are available for regular flight operations. Passengers are required to contact the appropriate airline for the latest plan of their flights,” they said, according to the agency report.
According to the agency report, Pakistani Airspace has been fully restored for all types of flights and airports are available for regular flight operations.
Previous reports have shown that Pakistani airspace remained closed for some time and routes due to increasing tension with India. This allegedly hindered regular air traffic and created unpleasant for passengers.
India-Pakistan a ceasefire
Pakistan opened his airspace after the Indian Foreign Minister Vikram Misri on Saturday, May 10, announced that India and Pakistan agreed to stop shooting at the attic and air from 17:00
“Pakistan DGMO (CEO of military operations) called DGMO in India 15.35 hours earlier in the afternoon. Between them, it was agreed that both sides would stop all shooting and military action in the air and sea with an effect of 1700 hours,” Vikram Misri said.
According to people who are aware of development, there are no other plans for conversations between two nations currently in any other problem. The agreement comes almost two days after Pakistan escalated the conflict by attacking India by shelling on the border region.
This was a reaction to an Indian retaliation action against terrorism, which claimed the lives of 26 people in the Pahalgam attack 22 April 2025.
Earlier Saturday, India reportedly warned Pakistan that “any future act of terror will be considered a war act against India and will answer appropriately.”
Before the Indian government announced its agreement with Pakistan, US President Donald Trump said India and Pakistan agreed on a complete and immediate ceasefire.
“I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed on a complete and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations on both counting to use common sense and great intelligence,” Trump said in his social contribution to Truth.
According to media reports, the Indian government did not call it a “ceasefire” and rather as a de-escallation movement of both sides.
