SP P. Jagadeesh spoke on Saturday to start a mega medical camp in Anantapur in Anantapore.
On Saturday on Saturday, the police superintendent (SP) P. Jagadeesh started a free mega medical camp for police staff and their families. Health and medical staff from Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad, organized a camp in a police conference.
SP said the camp focused on cancer screening and general health checks between the police and their family members. “There is a great reaction to the camp that has performed tests for breast, cervical and lung cancer, along with consultations of general medicine, gynecology and radiology,” said Sp.
Mr. Jagadeesh emphasized the importance of preventive medicine. “Early cancer detection is possible due to the latest diagnosis. Cancer is not a life -threatening disease if diagnosed in time. We support early medical consultations and preventive care awareness,” Mr. Jagadeesh said.
Teams of the Basavatarakam Hospital organized special counters for men and women in the camp. A specially designed mobile clinic was deployed in the camp. Police officials, medical experts and members of the police brotherhood participated in a large number of the camp.
