Temperatures exceed 46℃ in 12 districts of Telangana on May 25

As intense heat conditions continue to plague Telangana, maximum temperatures across the state remain high with 12 districts recording temperatures above 46℃ on Monday (May 25, 2026), according to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) data.

Vemulapalle in Nalgonda was the hottest place in the state with a maximum temperature of 46.5℃. It was followed by 46.4℃ in Pinapaka (Bhadradri Kothagudem), Dharmapuri (Jagtial), Dahegaon (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), Aloor (Nizamabad), Garidepalle (Suryapet), 46.3℃ in Enkur (Khammam), Kannepalli (2Palli), Kannepalli (2Palcherial) Chigurumamidi (Karimnagar), 46.1℃ Seerol (Mahabubabad). Wazeed (Mulugu) and 46℃ in Nirmal Rural (Nirmal).

Districts that recorded temperatures between 45℃ and 46℃ are 45.8℃ in Mahadevpur (Jayashankar Bhupalpally), Madnur (Kamareddy), 45.7℃ in Sangem (Warangal), 45.6℃ in Ichoda (Adilabad), Boinparlle and Sillaaj 2.5℃ Bejjanki (Siddipet).

The districts that recorded temperatures between 42℃ and 45℃ are 44.8℃ in Addagudur (Yadadri Bhuvangiri), 44.7℃ in Kamalapur (Hanumakonda), 43.9℃ in Jangaon (Jangaon), 43.3℃ in DundigalchedMedimagiis, MalalchedMedimagiis 42.8℃ in Narayankhed (Sangareddy), 42.7℃ in Chegunta. (Medak), 42.6 ℃ in Chevella (Rangareddy) and 42.5 ℃ in Charminar (Hyderabad).

The districts that recorded temperatures below 42℃ are 40.9℃ in Balanagar (Mahabubnagar), 40.7℃ in Marpalla (Vikarabad), 40.6℃ in Vangoor (Nagarkurnool), 40.3℃ in Damaragidda (Narayanpet), 40.3℃ in Pangal (Wanaga) and 40.3℃ in Gadwal (Jogulamba Gadwal).
