Three Junior Commander of the Chrrtitel, the anti-naxal force of the TELANGANA Police, was killed and the assistant of the attack (AAC) of the elite forces was injured on Thursday (825) on Thursday (825) in the morning.
The deceased commando was identified as Sridhar, N. Pavan Kalyan and T. Sandeep. AAC, Ch. Rabeer, suffered a firearm injury in an attack that occurred in a wooded area near the volatile boundary of Telangana-Chhattisgarh.
The Greyhounds unit, which was part of the patrol team consisting of the Mulug police, launched a search operation in the Nugur Forest on Wednesday to discover the improvised explosive devices (IED) set by Maoists and destroy them. The search operation has been launched as a result of a recent statement by the Maoist, stating that they have been planted in this area, warned the locals of movement, the police said.
The patrol team searched the area around 6:00 on Thursday, when a group of 35 to 40 armed Maoists waiting for the clinging launched the tread mines and resorted to heavy shooting focused on a search party. The Maoists stopped shooting and escaped when the police party fired in self -defense, the police added.
The three junior commando succumbed to the injury. Their bodies were transported to Warangal in a helicopter, where a post mortem in MGM hospital was carried out later during the day.
The injured AAC was moved to Hyderabad for better treatment. His condition was listed as stable.
Meanwhile, Minister Panchayat Raj D. Anasuya, Police Director Jitender, ADG-Greyhounds M.Stephen Ravendra, and a number of higher police officials paid tribute to the Warangal Police Commissionate.
