Hours after the “Sindoor Operation”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the president of the murm and chaired the cabinet meeting to inform her colleagues about military strikes. The government also called for a meeting of all parties to inform all political parties in parliament on Thursday (May 8, 2025) in Parliament.

According to sources, the Prime Minister praised the “perfect” operations performed by the armed forces. During the meeting of his colleagues, they expressed their confidence in the armed forces and the leadership of Modi with the introduction of the tables.

Later on the day, the Minister of Parliament of the Union Kiren Rijija announced that the government would organize a meeting in parliament at 11 o’clock on Thursday. Congress expressed hope that Mr. Modi would attend a meeting.
In an interview with the Communications Secretary General (Communications) Jairam Ramesh said the opposition expected PM to attend the last meeting of all parties called April 24th as a result of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam, but for some reason he could not.
“Tomorrow is another meeting of all parties,” Mr. Ramesh said.
