Indian strikes in Pakistan were not escalations, but the “reaction” to the terrorist attack Pahalgam, Foreign Minister Vikram Misri told the envoy of 13 of 15 countries in the UN Security Council (UNSC). 14. A member, a Pakistani envoy, was not invited to a briefing held hours after Indian events in South Block, but included a Chinese envoy to India, XU Feihong. Sierra Leone was not present at the meeting because they do not have ambassadors.
“In New York, the Indian permanent mission also addresses the UNSC members,” government sources said.

During the meeting, Mr. Misri reiterated that Indie’s response to the “barbaric” terrorist attack of Pahalgam, in which 26 was killed, was “targeting, measured and non -calacable”, and its aim was to discourage and prevent other attacks planned against India. He also said that by “shielding” the resistance queue (TRF) insisted on its omission of the UN resolution last week and Pakistan escalated the situation. He said India would respond to any military escalation by Pakistan at this point.
According to sources, the Minister of Foreign Affairs asked a number of questions about operations in the early hours of Wednesday, from 13 countries sent, including China, France, Russia, Great Britain, USA and non-permanent members of Algeria, Denmark, Greece, Pakistan, Pakistan, Panama, South Korea, Slovenia and Somament. As Hind reported, Pakistan, with the support of China, ensured that the proposal of an UNSC on the attack of Pahalgam issued on April 25 was irrigated and insisted to omit the reference to the TRF and changed the sentence asking members to cooperate with the “government of India” to “all competent authorities” to investigate Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistani pressure to remove links to the TRF in the UN Security Council of the UN 25. April is remarkable in this respect,” Misri said.
He also stated that India and November 2024 provided the TRF in the semi -annual report to the 1267 UN Sanction Committee on the semi -annual report, and before that it “evoked the (TRF) role (TRF) as a coverage for terrorist groups based in Pakistan”.
During the briefing, Mr. Misri said that in an attack, the investigation had revealed the “communication nodes of terrorists in Pakistan” and said that Let Hanles had repossed the initial statement of the TRF that he had an attack. He also stated that the Indian authorities identified attackers on the basis of eyewitness accounts and other evidence concerning the planning and support of the TRF terrorists. MEA has not confirmed whether India would soon apply for an extract according to the solution for the designation of UNSC 1267, but it is understood that she is working on the documentation.
