The operation that took the male elephant, who went to Peak to Doddabett, continued on the third after -day going on Wednesday. However, despite the best efforts of the forest department, the saga does not have in sight, because the disoriented elephant, unused to the station in which it is, will continue to escape from people.
The top of Dodabetta was closed for tourists the second consecutive day, when the employees of the forest department tried to eliminate the elephant from their hiding near the plantation of Cinchon in Doddabetta using fireworks. However, their efforts have proved to be futile, although the ministry now considers it a more risky approach to dealing with this matter by modifying the animal and moving back to the original stand along the slopes of Coonoor.
But nature who spoke to Hindu urged caution and stated that as an animal there were three consecutive days in a state of emergency, it was a risky strategy to calm the animal.
“As The Elephant Is Quite Close to Human Settlements and Also on Quite Unfavourable Terrain, It is at Risk of Falling or Having Negative Interactions with People in the Area. Any Strategy to Relocate It Must Be Done Agreed That The Animal Cannot Be Left alone in the Forest without Human Intervention as Dodabetta, Located in the Upper Nilgiris, May Not Have Enough of A Fodder Base to Sustain itself.
