
Royal Challengers Bengalur announced that the Mayank Agarwal was signed as a replacement for Devdutt Padikkal for the rest of the season. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals finally announced their replacement for Harry Brook because they joined at Sediqullah Atal.
Padikkal’s injury comes as a big blow to RCB because Southpaw was a revelation on No. 3 and in 10 matches he scored 247 runs. Padikkal suffered an injury to his true hamstring to be excluded from the season. Mayank was not selected at the IPL 2025 auction after a bad trip last season. So far, Karnataka has played 127 IPL matches and scored 2661 runs.

“Mayank Agarwal has so far played 127 IPL matches and scored 2661 runs. It has 1 IPL one hundred and 13 fifties against his name. He joined RCB for INR 1 Crore,” he read the statement from IPL.
DC finally get Harry Brook replacement
DC finally got a replacement of the Atal stream. Brook withdrew from the IPL before the start of the season 2025, but Delhi decided to wait until the deadline before moving. Atal scored 1507 runs in 49 matches and is considered a beginning star for Afghanistan.
