
After the Sindoor surgery, initiated by Indian armed forces during the morning hours on Wednesday, Jamma and Kashmm, Main Minister Omar Abdullah said that the conflict began by killing 26 civilians in Pahalgam. He claimed that India focused only on terrorist places in Pakistan.
Omar Abdullah also said, “It started with Pahalgam, where our 26 innocent civilians were killed and the government said we would get a corresponding answer … This was the right method to answer … Only terrorist places in Pakistan were hit not a military area or civilians … But Pakistan bombed some areas and our civilians were focused.
He added: “They started it, not us … We lived peacefully … We started … none of us want war … We want the situation to improve again, but first Pakistan has to reduce our weapons …”
Security measures in J&K
In addition, J&K has encountered officials to assess safety measures along the border areas. He ordered officials to focus on the protection of civilians and ensure a quick response.
“He organized an appointment to assess the safety and readiness along the border areas/LOC. Emphasis on the protection of civilian lives, strengthening infrastructure and ensuring a rapid response to all emerging challenges,” the Chief Minister (J&K) reported on X.
“He assessed the ground situation along the border and LOC. Division Commissioners and DCS reported on the prevailing situation. They emphasized the protection of civilian lives and ensuring early reaction at all levels,” he read another contribution.

Amit Shah Talks to Omar Abdullah
Previously, the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah spoke to Abdullah after the Sindoor operation in the middle of the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, he said.
Amit Shah is also in contact with Governor Lieutenant (LG) J&K Manoj Sinha and CEO of Border Security Force (BSF).
Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed this situation and ordered the district collectors to move villagers from vulnerable regions.
“I also directed DC to move villagers from vulnerable areas to safer places and ensured meals, accommodation, food, medicine and transport. We provide the safety of every citizen. Jai Hind!” Office Governor Lieutenant J&K wrote on X.

Sinha said the government was prepared to solve any case event.
“It was found that the situation in the J&K border districts with all higher administrative, police and district officials, including DC of all border districts. I follow the situation and the government is fully ready to deal with any event,” J&K informed the Governor’s office in a separate paper.

SINDOOR OPERATION
The declaration of Omar Abdullah and security measures were tightened in J&K after the Indian armed forces began military strikes in nine places in Pakistan and PO in the joint military event called Sindoor, focused on terrorist infrastructure in the region.
India reported media briefing about Sindoor surgery that a joint military operation lasted about 25 minutes. The strikes started on Wednesday 7 May at 1:05 and ended up to 1:30
This military strike comes days after the deadly Pahalgam’s terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 26 lives.
