2026 Ganesha Immersion: Khairatabad Ganesha idol immersion ends

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) in collaboration with TAAPMA (Telangana and Andhra Plastic Manufacturers Association) conducted an awareness program for devotees participating in the Ganesh idol procession at NTR Marg, Khairatabad, focusing on segregation of waste at source and responsible collection and disposal of plastic waste.

Devotees have been advised to avoid littering, sorting waste and depositing plastic waste at designated collection points, according to a press release.

The specialized training center was inaugurated by GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan along with Additional Commissioner B. Santosh and others.
