Main Minister Assam Himanta Bisw Sarma took another crossing to the Guurav Gogoi Congress and accused him of radicalizing 90 young people through the Pakistani Embassy.
The day after the question of the motif of Mr. Gogoi’s fifteen -day trip to Pakistan some time ago, the main minister said on Tuesday (May 6, 2025) that Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Rahul Gandhi, should clarify whether the party deputies could visit Pakistan.
“We built a ball that ran for a letter to Rogator (a written request of a court in one country in a court in another application for assistance in legal proceedings) on visa, passport and other details. It will take at least three months,” Sarma told reporters.
“We learned that Gaurav Gogoi took 90 boys and girls to the Pakistani embassy to expose them to radicalization. Some of the young people said they were transported to the Pakistan Embassy instead of other embassies,” said leader Bharatiya Janata (BJP).
He added that these young people were never clearly informed of their itinerary or goals, and the exercise was shrouded in secret.
The main minister also said that British wife Elizabeth Colburn Gogoi traveled 19 times between India and Pakistan. He claimed that the Pakistani army helped her during her trips to Pakistan, where she worked before she moved to Delhi.
Mr. Sarma said earlier that the wife of a deputy worked for an organization with references to inter-service intelligence, a Pakistani spy agency. He also accused Mr. Gogoi of raising pro-Pakistan’s questions in parliament.
Assam’s Congress unit rejected the accusation and wondered if the main minister was trying to do the work of the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah and the Central Agencies.
“At a time when the whole country is united and supports the central government in their efforts against Pakistan, BJP IT Cell, including the Chief Minister of Assam, indulges in minor policy.
