
The CBI court condemned former Minister of Karnatak Gali Janardhan Reddy and three others in the case of Obulapuram illegal mining and condemned them for seven years of imprisonment.
Reddy was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Karnataka from the Gangawati election district of the Assembly from 13 May 2023, which was associated with Kalyana Rajya Pragathi Paksha. March 25, 2024 re -joined Bharatiya Janata Party.
