Naidu is practically laying foundation stones for development projects worth ₹ 380 crore in Nellore district

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday virtually laid the foundation stones for 62 development works across SPSR Nellore district at an estimated cost of ₹ 380 crore under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) scheme.

Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, NUDA Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy, MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, AP Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz, Mayor Sujatha and Municipal Commissioner YO Nandan attended the program at DGP Kalyanamandapam.

Under this initiative, 24 development projects worth ₹240 crore would come up within the Nellore Municipal Corporation limits. These funds will be used to develop infrastructure such as roads, central centres, central lighting and parks in urban areas.

The remaining funds, including ₹40 million, were sanctioned for eight guns in Kavali, ₹30 million for 12 guns in Gudur, ₹29 million for six guns in Atmakuru and ₹22 million for five guns in Buchireddypalem villages, along with ₹19 million in Allurgaru panchaya.

Speaking on the occasion, MP Prabhakar Reddy said that the funds were sanctioned due to the efforts of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister Ponguru Narayana and it will lead the district to all-round development.

MLA Sridhar Reddy announced that development work worth ₹872 crore has been carried out so far in Nellore Rural constituency in collaboration with the Chief Minister, Ministers, MP and other public representatives.
