12 Korean universities are participating in the education fair

Twelve Korean universities participated in the first ever “Study in Korea Education Fair”, organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chennai in collaboration with the National Institute of International Education.

More than 1,000 students interacted with university representatives, which included Kangwon National University, Konkuk University Glocal Campus, Kyungdong University Global, Dongguk University, Chonnam National University and Busan Health University, a press release said. Students received one-on-one consultations, an insight into academic programs, admissions processes and the campus in Korea.

The fair was inaugurated by Higher Education Minister P. Viswanathan in the presence of Republic of Korea Consul General in Chennai Hye Ran Chun. The minister emphasized the commissioning of more Korean language centers with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education.
