In a post shared on Reddit, a user who wished to keep the name of Anonymous, shared his suffering at R/Indianworkplace and claimed to join the company only a month ago, only to receive “bulk e-mail for extended breaks”.
Redditor further shared that he had previously worked in an environment where the main focus of the work was rather than monitoring the number of breaks.
“I worked for 1.5 years in an environment where only work had to be completed by the end of the day, and you can take as many breaks as you wanted (I am aware that it was quite lenient, but it was a working culture).
“Now, this chapter, which is my CEO, has applied for a daily report from HR concerning everyone’s breaks and anyone who exceeds the time limit, which is only 15 minutes, will be terminated if this crime is repeated. This guy does not even provide tea or coffee in the workspace.
Post quickly became a viral and raised a rush of response from social media users who made him appoint him so that other candidates could be cautious.
The user asked, “Why don’t you know the company not to join the others?”
Redditor replied that “CEO has quite influential and doesn’t want to lose his job. Fear is a good factor. The guy is quite influential; I can’t name society or he. I can’t risk unemployment in this economy.”
