Man found dead in parked car in Koramangala

A 46-year-old man was found dead in a parked luxury car in Bengaluru’s Koramangala on Sunday, barely 400 meters from the local police station.

The deceased has been identified as Salim Akbar, a native of Kodagu district.

According to police, residents alerted dispatch around 8 a.m. after noticing a man sitting unresponsive in a vehicle.

A police team rushed to the spot and found Akbar dead.

CCTV footage from the area showed the car coming and stopping in front of Sagar Fast Food in Koramangala’s 8th block at around 2:30 am.

Preliminary investigation suggests that Akbar may have died due to sudden medical complications. Police found no evidence of foul play.

However, the exact cause of death would be known after an autopsy and forensic analysis.

Koramangala police have registered a report of unnatural death. The family of the deceased has been informed and further investigations are underway.
