Four people were killed on Friday (May 2, 2025) in the morning, when the house collapsed in the capital after heavy rains and strong winds that influenced flight operations and disrupted operation due to water reels in many parts of the city.
Three years were diverted and more than 100 years were postponed at the airport in Delhi because the storms and sudden winds disrupted the operations.

Three children and the woman died after the house collapsed in Delhi, where the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) released a red warning.
“We called calls on the collapse of the house in the village of Charkari Naar in Najafgarh at 5.25 in the morning. We deployed several teams on the spot and four people were rescued from the debris,” said fire official in Delhi.
They were hurried to a nearby hospital where they were declared dead, he said.
“We informed the police about this matter,” he added.
The heavy rain leads to a cummer
Visuals from several areas have appeared uproot trees and people stuck on the water -goy roads. The videos emerged on the social media, which showed that the car on Mingo Road showed a car.
Mino Road, Major Somnath Marg in RK Puram and Khanpur were particularly influenced in the rain.

More than 100 years delayed
Delhi International Airport LTD (Dial), which operates the airport, in paper at 5.20 in the morning, said some flights were affected due to unfavorable weather conditions.

The official said that two years to land at Delhi Airport were diverted to Jaipur and one to Ahmedabad.

IMD Problems Red Warning
The weather department issued a red warning for Delhi and urged people to remain very vigilant and take the necessary measures.
IMD predicted a slight to heavy rain, along with mild to heavy storms and wind speeds reaching 70-80 km / HV parts of Delhli-NCR. Weak rain is probably in some other areas of the region.
The weather department warned against serious weather over Delhi-NCR during the morning hours, with possible exploitation of trees, damage to electric lines, standing crops and vulnerable structures. Health can also hurt people or cattle in open areas.
As a preventive measure, it is recommended to stay inside, avoid refuge under the trees, disconnect electronic appliances and stay away from the water bodies and objects that perform electricity.
