Three men were arrested by Central Zone Task Force and Dolguda Police for operating online cricket missiles from the Himayatnagar apartment during the IPL match between Chennai Super Kings and Pandjab Kings.
The defendants were identified as Sriraj B, 42, the main bookmaker, Hondma Sainath, 32 years, Sub-Knih and Regalla Gopynanath, 29, Better and Agent collection. The air raid took place in the apartment on street number 8 based on trusted information.
Police confiscated 1.2 Lakh in cash and three mobile phones used to operate betting applications. The accused used an application from an overseas agent to facilitate betting on live matches. Sriraj reportedly shared the login with bookmakers and discreetly managed transactions.
Sainath and Gopynath helped to collect betting values based on commission. Sriraj and Sainath were previously arrested in similar cases. The defendants and confiscated material were handed over to the Police of Domalguda for the next event.
